Thursday December 14, 1995, on the day the court session had been set, CoS had a press conference.
The news that was presented there wasn't very new. No forthcoming lawsuit was announced. CoS just spread some old material - the DA-pack that Felipe has posted here earlier.
They also talked about their intention to 'clean up' the Internet; people will be asked to report pornography, piracy, fraud, extortion and 'bomb treats' (sic) to CoS, whereupon the reporters would be rewarded with up to $ 10.000. (Ask Larry about
their willingness to pay.)
At this press conference on Thursday, they presented Bob Quigley, allegedly a former FBI-agent, now working as a private investigator. He is supposedly here to investigate these 'copyright infringments'. Has anybody heard of him?
